In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Perdido SC's goalkeeper Rogério Rossi, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The crowd rose to their feet as Perdido SC's Ricardinho Rosado slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of José Vítor Bertassi. That made the score 2-0 after 17 minutes of play. Ricardinho Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. José Vítor Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute Ricardinho Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Vítor Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A São Lourenço's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Ricardinho Rosado 42 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 4-0. José Vítor Bertassi made a fantastic save in the 46th minute, when Chicão Baiano sent off a good shot on target. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 53rd minute, Chicão Baiano made a precise shot to the right of José Vítor Bertassi. C.A São Lourenço's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. In the 56th minute Ricardinho Rosado shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but José Vítor Bertassi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. C.A São Lourenço's José Vítor Bertassi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ricardinho Rosado in the 58th minute of play. José Vítor Bertassi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ricardinho Rosado in the 59th minute of the match. Rogério Rossi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Horácio Leite in the 61st minute of the match. After 63 minutes of play, Perdido SC's Chicão Baiano made it 6-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. José Vítor Bertassi was left in no man's land by his defense there! After some careless play in the C.A São Lourenço defense, Charles Leão kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of José Vítor Bertassi. The C.A São Lourenço fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that José Vítor Bertassi should have stopped the shot. Ricardinho Rosado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 74th minute. José Vítor Bertassi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. José Vítor Bertassi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ricardinho Rosado, who was totally free with the ball in the 76th minute. Chicão Baiano blasted a shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without José Vítor Bertassi having to make a save. In the 80th match minute, C.A São Lourenço was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Maciel to maneuver through the defense. When Jonathan Terra came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the C.A São Lourenço fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan Terra couldn't finish the play. If Ricardinho Rosado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Ricardinho Rosado had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of José Vítor Bertassi. C.A São Lourenço's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ricardinho Rosado was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 8-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Perdido SC fully deserved thier win.
