Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Bateeiro AD's Clemente Fontes started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Bateeiro AD booed when Ninguém Dorme F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Zé Pedro Brasil didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bateeiro AD's Joel Valadares couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 9th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Ninguém Dorme F.C. With a little luck, Ninguém Dorme F.C's Dino Botelho got control of the ball when Mateus Torres tried to sneak it across the goal line. Dino Botelho took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Clemente Fontes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 14 minutes, Mateus Torres managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Bateeiro AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mateus Torres was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Mateus Torres received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Dino Botelho tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ninguém Dorme F.C's Enéas Félix got a free kick in the 20th minute. The audience was convinced that Allan Luz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Mazinho Mendonça was relentless in the 22nd minute of the game. In the 26th minute, Mateus Torres got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Dino Botelho acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 34th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Agostinho Paes. In the 39th minute the ball was on its way in behind Bateeiro AD's goalkeeper Mazinho Mendonça, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Allan Luz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Mazinho Mendonça tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jorge Meira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mazinho Mendonça having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The wind increased when Jorge Meira made the kick off in the second half. Mazinho Mendonça took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jorge Meira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Clemente Fontes had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Dino Botelho didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Clemente Fontes went, in the 63rd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Bateeiro AD's Mazinho Mendonça played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jorge Meira in the 71st minute of play. Mateus Torres recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Dino Botelho showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mateus Torres, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Joel Valadares took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 88th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dino Botelho. Ninguém Dorme F.C's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Clemente Fontes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bateeiro AD's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
