Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) André Luiz Meirelles started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 5thth minute of the game André Luiz Meirelles who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Palmeiras Garauna AD's Baltazar Félix was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 7th minute, Cássio Paraense managed to get in a good position for a shot. Curutari AD's supporters rose to their feet, but Cássio Paraense was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Baltazar Félix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Paulo Renato Braga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 14 minutes of play, Curutari AD's André Luiz Meirelles made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Baltazar Félix was left in no man's land by his defense there! A collision led to Curutari AD getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Paulo Renato Braga hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Palmeiras Garauna AD's Cesinha Sabóia slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vitório Cabral. That made the score 1-1 after 22 minutes of play. After a rather tough play, Palmeiras Garauna AD's Edmílson Aguiar got a free kick in the 26th minute. When Marco das Neves came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Curutari AD fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marco das Neves couldn't finish the play. If André Luiz Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Cesinha Sabóia was the one to do the kick off. Baltazar Félix came out of the goal in the 52nd minute to try and stop a shot by Curutari AD's Marco das Neves. But to his dismay, Marco das Neves quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Paulo Renato Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers André Luiz Meirelles in the 60th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Baltazar Félix saved Palmeiras Garauna AD from getting behind. Vitório Cabral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from José Pedro Rosado in the 61st minute of the match. André Luiz Meirelles fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltazar Félix having to interfere. Vitório Cabral made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cesinha Sabóia in the 67th minute of play. Agnaldo Quintal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Baltazar Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Palmeiras Garauna AD's zone, Marco das Neves stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Baltazar Félix came out of the goal and Marco das Neves tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Baltazar Félix came out of the goal in the 74th minute to try and stop a shot by Curutari AD's André Luiz Meirelles. But to his dismay, André Luiz Meirelles quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. If André Luiz Meirelles had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Palmeiras Garauna AD's Baltazar Félix played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marco das Neves in the 80th minute of play. Marco das Neves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Baltazar Félix having to interfere. André Luiz Meirelles sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Baltazar Félix made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when André Luiz Meirelles sent off a good shot on target. Marco das Neves struck a weak shot in the 89th minute. Baltazar Félix didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Curutari AD. In the 91st minute, Paulo Renato Braga left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Curutari AD fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-4.
