Hílton Quaresma's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Baltazar Félix read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 19th minute of play. Baltazar Félix showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hílton Quaresma in the 23rd minute of the match. José Pedro Rosado fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 26th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alexandre Prado having to interfere. When Rui Cunha came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Guarare SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Rui Cunha couldn't finish the play. Baltazar Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hílton Quaresma in the 38th minute of play. Rui Cunha received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Baltazar Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Palmeiras Garauna AD getting a freekick after 48 minutes play. Dé Dias hit a great ball. 49 minutes into the match, Guarare SC's Rodrigo Martins broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. The Palmeiras Garauna AD players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Guarare SC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Hílton Quaresma made a kick off. When Palmeiras Garauna AD's Adhemar Porto in the 53rd minute got a chance for a shot 53rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Guarare SC's goalie prevented a goal. Baltazar Félix made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hílton Quaresma in the 61st minute of play. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 69th match minute, Palmeiras Garauna AD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Edmílson Aguiar to maneuver through the defense. The crowd rose to their feet as Guarare SC's Hílton Quaresma slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Baltazar Félix. That made the score 0-2 after 70 minutes of play. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Guarare SC's goalkeeper Alexandre Prado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Hílton Quaresma came up free with the goalie in the 90th minute, the Guarare SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hílton Quaresma couldn't finish the play.
