An unexpectedly hard shot by Arí Mazza in the 15th minute of play forced Mirandinha's goalkeeper Arsenio Jordy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 16 minutes into the match, Timbu EC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Fabiano Amorim came free, but Christian da Rocha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th match minute, Timbu EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cacá Santana to maneuver through the defense. After 22nd play minutes Froilan Orlan shot 1-1, a short shot which went by Christian da Rocha and just under the crossbar into goal. Christian da Rocha was left in no man's land by his defense there! Claudinei Lago could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Arsenio Jordy made a huge save. Arsenio Jordy was out of position in the 40 minute of play, and Enéas de Azevedo capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Enéas de Azevedo really showed his touch with that goal: 3-2. Enéas de Azevedo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 48th minute of the match, but Arsenio Jordy made a huge save. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-2.

Cacá Santana fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arsenio Jordy having to interfere. Luís Fabiano Amorim might have been able to make a better finish in the 57th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Christian da Rocha. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Luís Fabiano Amorim ran back to his position shaking his head. 61 minutes into the match, Mirandinha's goal looked a bit too open when Anselmo Neiva came free, but Arsenio Jordy reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Arsenio Jordy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arí Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Christian da Rocha made an important save on a dangerous shot by Luís Fabiano Amorim in the 67th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Anselmo Neiva in the 68th minute of play forced Mirandinha's goalkeeper Arsenio Jordy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
