The Tapa FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Duarte Britto should have stopped the shot. 32 minutes into the match, Walmyr Paes dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Duarte Britto, 2-1. The supporters of Milan AC booed when Tapa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 39 match minutes in a wonderful position. Giovanni Gaúcho didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ingo Rüdemanns short, quick shot in the 46thth minute got Duarte Britto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gilson Peres was the one to do the kick off. Michel Koehlers short, quick shot in the 52ndth minute got Raúl Peixoto to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingo Rüdemann in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duarte Britto saved Tapa FC from getting behind. If Ingo Rüdemann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmyr Paes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Duarte Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 61stth minute of the game Ingo Rüdemann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tapa FC's Duarte Britto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Franklin Toscano in the 62nd minute of play forced Tapa FC's goalkeeper Duarte Britto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Tapa FC's zone, Ingo Rüdemann stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Duarte Britto came out of the goal and Ingo Rüdemann tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ingo Rüdemann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Duarte Britto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Osmar Fernandes kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The supporters of Milan AC booed when Tapa FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 70 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilson Peres didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute, Ingo Rüdemann made a precise shot to the right of Duarte Britto. Tapa FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. When Ingo Rüdemann came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Milan AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ingo Rüdemann couldn't finish the play. 92 minutes into the match, Franklin Toscano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Duarte Britto. Tapa FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Franklin Toscano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ingo Rüdemann in the 96th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Duarte Britto prevented the ball from getting in the gole.
