The corner ended in Cauã Pires almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Villa Real's Nilson Ceresso did a great save. When the match had gone on for 11 minutes, José Prado put it in 1-0 from a short distance just to the right of Dudu Recife. 17 minutes into the match, Zé de Brito had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nilson Ceresso. Villa Real's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zé de Brito was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. After 21 minutes, Gernando de Godoy mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Janaúba F.C and the Villa Real players grew even worse after the yellow card. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Janaúba F.C's 陈风宁 got a good chance for a goal in the 30th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dida Braga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Ceresso having to interfere. Nilson Ceresso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dida Braga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nilson Ceresso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 陈风宁 in the 38th minute of the match. 陈风宁 struck a weak shot in the 40th minute. Nilson Ceresso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Janaúba F.C. José Prado received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Dudu Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dida Braga made a kick off. Dudu Recife made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from José Prado in the 63rd minute of play. Zé de Brito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nilson Ceresso having to interfere. Dida Braga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 78 minutes into the game, Villa Real's José Prado nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dudu Recife made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Zé de Brito sent away a hard shot on goal in the 82nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If José Prado had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dida Braga in the 86th minute of play forced Villa Real's goalkeeper Nilson Ceresso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Villa Real getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Vitinho da Costa hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling José Prado in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dudu Recife prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 91st minute, José Prado ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dudu Recife was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1.
