Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Beto Lira started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Donato Brodel fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Donato having to interfere. Caetano Donato made a fantastic save in the 11th minute, when Afonsinho Mendes sent off a good shot on target. 13 minutes into the game, Donato Brodel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Caetano Donato was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Caetano Donato showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Donato Brodel, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. In the 18th minute, Donato Brodel got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 20 played minutes Pessoa got a freekick which was hit by Reginaldo Trevisan. Caetano Donato was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 21st minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Cauã Arce. The crowd rose to their feet as Donato Brodel kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Caetano Donato. That made the score 2-0 in the 23 minute of play. 28 minutes into the match, Afonsinho Mendes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Caetano Donato. Pessoa's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Afonsinho Mendes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Walmir Linhares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 31st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ernani Zonta made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Beto Lira in the 36th minute of play. Caetano Donato made an important save on a dangerous shot by Afonsinho Mendes in the 37th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Afonsinho Mendes got free with Caetano Donato in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 40th match minute, Pessoa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kauan Almeida to maneuver through the defense. Kauan Almeida hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Afonsinho Mendes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Donato Brodel made a kick off. Ernani Zonta took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Beto Lira, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Perivaldo Xavier hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Cornelius's zone, Beto Lira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ernani Zonta came out of the goal and Beto Lira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Tony Coutinho charged in rather forcefully in the 62nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Tony Coutinho the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Afonsinho Mendes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Caetano Donato having to interfere. After 69 minutes of play, Cornelius's Afonsinho Mendes made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Caetano Donato was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 72nd minute Afonsinho Mendes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Caetano Donato saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Donato Brodel in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Caetano Donato saved Pessoa from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, Pessoa's goal looked a bit too open when Donato Brodel came free, but Caetano Donato reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cícero Mazza took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 78th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Caetano Donato. Pessoa's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Pessoa's goalkeeper Caetano Donato, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Walmir Linhares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Ernani Zonta tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Sabino Vides during the 83rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Cornelius's Sabino Vides got a free kick in the 83rd minute. Walmir Linhares was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 86th minute. Pessoa's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Walmir Linhares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ernani Zonta having to interfere. Beto Lira received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ernani Zonta came out and tried to block the shot, but Beto Lira slotted it home off the left post making it 4-1 in the 92nd minute. Pessoa's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
