Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Décio Bastos started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Décio Bastos in the 3rd minute of play forced FC Estrela Vermelha's goalkeeper Roch Luty to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, FC Estrela Vermelha's Ismael Machado got a free kick in the 4th minute. Clóvis Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Haroldo Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 21stth minute of the game Belmiro de Medeiros who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Estrela Vermelha's Roch Luty was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Roch Luty didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Décio Bastos went, in the 23rd minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Severino Castro kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. Kléberson Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute Belmiro de Medeiros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Roch Luty saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Haroldo Arantes made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Clóvis Massa in the 45th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, Belmiro de Medeiros had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Roch Luty. FC Estrela Vermelha's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Belmiro de Medeiros was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

In the 56th minute, Serginho Mandrak hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 62 played minutes FC Estrela Vermelha got a freekick which was hit by Aírton Leite. 66 minutes into the match, Décio Bastos dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Roch Luty, 0-3. Iraja AD's Haroldo Arantes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kléberson Gomes in the 70th minute of play. Kléberson Gomes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Haroldo Arantes having to interfere. Clóvis Massa's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Haroldo Arantes read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 74th minute of play. FC Estrela Vermelha's Roch Luty proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 79th minute of the match, managed to save FC Estrela Vermelha from getting a goal against them. Through an outstanding action, after 83 minutes, Roch Luty successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Kléberson Gomes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Clóvis Massa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Haroldo Arantes tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 95 minutes into the match, Kléberson Gomes had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Haroldo Arantes. Iraja AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Kléberson Gomes was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. When the final whistle went the supporters of Iraja AD were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant FC Estrela Vermelha side.
