Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Chutaí's Andon Gushterov started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Andon Gushterov received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Benedito Quadros tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Gustavo Carneiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedito Quadros having to interfere. The supporters of Matinhas booed when Chutaí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 6 match minutes in a wonderful position. Adelino Freire didn't get a good kick on the ball. Thanks to some nice moves Geovanni Melo could shoot a difficult shot in the 10th minute, which Paulo Sarmento however easily saved by the left post. 11 minutes into the match, Chutaí's goal looked a bit too open when Teodoro Batista came free, but Paulo Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Paulo Sarmento made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nando Leite in the 14th minute. Chutaí's Paulo Sarmento proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Chutaí from getting a goal against them. 23 minutes into the game, Luiz Paulo Salgado was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Chutaí's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Matinhas the free kick. After a rather tough play, Chutaí's Luiz Paulo Salgado got a free kick in the 23rd minute. Chutaí's Paulo Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Teodoro Batista in the 24th minute of play. Teodoro Batista was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 27th minute. Matinhas's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. After 31st play minutes Andon Gushterov shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Benedito Quadros and just under the crossbar into goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Andon Gushterov in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Benedito Quadros saved Matinhas from getting behind. 36 minutes into the match, Chutaí's goal looked a bit too open when Matheus Prado came free, but Paulo Sarmento reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 38thth minute of the game Andon Gushterov who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Matinhas's Benedito Quadros was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The supporters of Chutaí booed when Matinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. Andon Gushterov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Benedito Quadros having to interfere.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Teodoro Batista to make the kick off. Lúcio Amaral struck a weak shot in the 51st minute. Benedito Quadros didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chutaí. After 53 played minutes Chutaí got a freekick which was hit by Luiz Paulo Salgado. 59 minutes into the match, Matinhas's goalkeeper Benedito Quadros had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Andon Gushterov. An unexpectedly hard shot by Andon Gushterov in the 65th minute of play forced Matinhas's goalkeeper Benedito Quadros to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Matinhas's Benedito Quadros played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Andon Gushterov in the 67th minute of play. After some careless play in the Matinhas defense, Andon Gushterov kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Benedito Quadros. The Matinhas fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Benedito Quadros should have stopped the shot. Elói da Fonseca's late challenge caught a Chutaí's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Elói da Fonseca helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Matinhas getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Elói da Fonseca hit a great ball. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Matinhas's goalkeeper Benedito Quadros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Chutaí's Paulo Sarmento played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovanni Melo in the 77th minute of play. When Matheus Prado came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Matinhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matheus Prado couldn't finish the play. In the 84th minute the ball was on its way in behind Matinhas's goalkeeper Benedito Quadros, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Andon Gushterov in the 86th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedito Quadros prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Chutaí's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Enéas Brasil in the 88th minute. Chutaí's Enéas Brasil was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Benedito Quadros in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Benedito Quadros made a fantastic save in the 91st minute, when Luiz Gustavo Carneiro sent off a good shot on target. Andon Gushterov who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Benedito Quadros when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Nando Leite fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Matinhas's protests and gave Nando Leite a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Chutaí booed when Matinhas was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nando Leite didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Chutaí had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
