Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Almir Messias got the match started through his kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Pernetas FC's zone, Almir Messias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nico Bittencourt came out of the goal and Almir Messias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Pernetas FC's Válter Quirino got a free kick in the 4th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Pernetas FC's zone, Elias Cavalcante stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nico Bittencourt came out of the goal and Elias Cavalcante tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Almir Messias in the 12th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nico Bittencourt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After some careless play in the Serrania defense, Teodoro Dionísio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olívio Antunes. The Serrania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olívio Antunes should have stopped the shot. Elias Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nico Bittencourt made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Elias Cavalcante sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Serrania defense, Teodoro Dionísio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Olívio Antunes. The Serrania fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Olívio Antunes should have stopped the shot. In the 33rd minute, Teodoro Dionísio made a precise shot to the right of Olívio Antunes. Serrania's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Severino Trigo in the 37th minute of play forced Serrania's goalkeeper Olívio Antunes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Serrania's Almir Messias got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Oswaldo Pinheiro tried in the game's 52nd match minute to clear up in front of his own goal but it went so bad that he put the ball into the goal to the left of an unhappy Olívio Antunes. An annoying self made goal, 0-4. If Elias Cavalcante had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Almir Messias in the 58th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nico Bittencourt prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Pernetas FC's Nico Bittencourt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Elias Cavalcante in the 59th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Almir Messias's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Nico Bittencourt was relentless in the 63rd minute of the game. After a rather tough play, Pernetas FC's Hílton Bezerra got a free kick in the 65th minute. Elias Cavalcante recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 68th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 70th minute Almir Messias shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nico Bittencourt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elias Cavalcante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nico Bittencourt having to interfere. Elias Cavalcante sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Nico Bittencourt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Oswaldo Pinheiro in the 80th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Serrania's goal looked a bit too open when Severino Trigo came free, but Olívio Antunes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Almir Messias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 94th minute of the match Serrania got a corner. Pernetas FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Alfredinho Moura ran over to the corner to take the kick.
