Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Ademir Correia made the kick off which started today's match. If Hortêncio Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Valério de Souza fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Muruja's protests and gave Valério de Souza a yellow card for diving instead. After 4 played minutes Muruja got a freekick which was hit by Valério de Souza. Josué Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jânio Coutinho's shot from short distance in the 7th minute. Muruja's Ricardo Guedes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hortêncio Ramalho in the 10th minute of play. Muruja's Jânio Coutinho got a good chance for a goal in the 15th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Caco Félix had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Josué Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jânio Coutinho in the 27th minute of play. If Hortêncio Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Corumbatahy's Hortêncio Ramalho got a good chance for a goal in the 38th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Josué Lima took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jânio Coutinho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jânio Coutinho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Josué Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Jânio Coutinho to make the kick off. Caco Félix made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 52ndth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Josué Lima would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Corumbatahy's zone, Jânio Coutinho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Josué Lima came out of the goal and Jânio Coutinho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ricardo Guedes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hortêncio Ramalho, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ricardo Guedes came out of the goal in the 58th minute to try and stop a shot by Corumbatahy's Hortêncio Ramalho. But to his dismay, Hortêncio Ramalho quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. Caco Félix received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Josué Lima tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Hortêncio Ramalho had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hortêncio Ramalho struck a weak shot in the 76th minute. Ricardo Guedes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. Ricardo Guedes was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Corumbatahy were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest.
