Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Leopoldo Amaral took the kick off in the first half of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 4th minute, Leopoldo Amaral managed to get in a good position for a shot. Barreirinha's supporters rose to their feet, but Leopoldo Amaral was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Nuno Félix breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Armando Freitas recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 11 minutes, Matías Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Barreirinha's supporters crossed their fingers, but Matías Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Mariante AD's Cássio Arósio got a free kick in the 12th minute. Nuno Félix made a fantastic save in the 14th minute, when Matías Costa sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Mariante AD getting a freekick after 24 minutes play. Álvaro Loureiro hit a great ball. Dida Corrêa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Benjamin Branco, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. After a rather tough play, Barreirinha's Ediberto Toledo got a free kick in the 29th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Barreirinha's zone, Márcio Veloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dida Corrêa came out of the goal and Márcio Veloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Benjamin Branco received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Dida Corrêa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Matías Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Félix having to interfere. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
51 minutes into the match, Matías Costa had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nuno Félix. Mariante AD's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Matías Costa was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Leopoldo Amaral received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Nuno Félix tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nuno Félix showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Leopoldo Amaral, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. After having played for 69 minutes, Benjamin Branco managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mariante AD's supporters crossed their fingers, but Benjamin Branco was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 75 minutes, Armando Freitas mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barreirinha and the Mariante AD players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Barreirinha's Armando Freitas got a free kick in the 75th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leopoldo Amaral in the 77th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Nuno Félix prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 78 minutes into the match, Matías Costa notched a goal, 3-0, to the right of Mariante AD's Nuno Félix. Nuno Félix was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Dida Corrêa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Márcio Veloso in the 83rd minute of play. When Leopoldo Amaral came up free with the goalie in the 86th minute, the Barreirinha fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leopoldo Amaral couldn't finish the play. Matías Costa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Félix having to make a save. Nuno Félix stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Matías Costa's shot from short distance in the 91st minute. If Márcio Veloso had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
