A very good chance. A hard shot by Elder Fantini from long distance, 12 minutes into the match, got Erivaldo Monteiro's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. Cristian Donatello was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 15th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Erivaldo Monteiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abelardo Matos in the 17th minute. In the 20th minute, Ediberto de Carvalho hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Patrick Pinho kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. After 24 played minutes Pajou EC got a freekick which was hit by Patrick Pinho. André Luís Vinhas hit a great freekick 29 minutes into the match. The long shot by Cristian Donatello in the 30th minute really tested Erivaldo Monteiro's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. The supporters of Pajou EC booed when Chumbo was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. André Luís Vinhas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Erivaldo Monteiro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abelardo Matos in the 34th minute. Ediberto de Carvalho received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Erivaldo Monteiro tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Chumbo defense, Ediberto de Carvalho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Erivaldo Monteiro. The Chumbo fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Erivaldo Monteiro should have stopped the shot. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sidney Schmidt stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Ediberto de Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Erivaldo Monteiro having to interfere. Erivaldo Monteiro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ediberto de Carvalho, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. 53 minutes into the match, Dida Arce notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Chumbo's Erivaldo Monteiro. Erivaldo Monteiro was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Sidney Schmidt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 57th minute. Giovanni Ribeiro got in the 98th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Telmo Amaral handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Pajou EC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
