Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Agostinho de Alcântara made the kick off which started today's match. João Pedro Trancoso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Betinho Amaral, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. David Vergílio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but João Pedro Trancoso made a huge save. Flavinho Luz's late challenge caught a Vertice's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Flavinho Luz helped the player get up and apologised. After 7 played minutes Corredor got a freekick which was hit by Flavinho Luz. After having played for 8 minutes, Amílton Pinheiro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vertice's supporters crossed their fingers, but Amílton Pinheiro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, David Vergílio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Vertice's supporters rose to their feet, but David Vergílio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. João Pedro Trancoso breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Amílton Pinheiro recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 11th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. David Vergílio's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but João Pedro Trancoso read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 12th minute of play. When David Vergílio fell near the penalty area in the 16th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Vertice's protests and gave David Vergílio a yellow card for diving instead. David Vergílio hit a great freekick 16 minutes into the match. Conrado Mello sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Agostinho de Alcântara took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Gil Almeida. Gil Almeida dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. After 36 minutes of play, Vertice's Amílton Pinheiro made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Pedro Trancoso was left in no man's land by his defense there! David Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. João Pedro Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amílton Pinheiro fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Pedro Trancoso having to interfere.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Amílton Pinheiro to strike the kick off in the second half. Conrado Mello recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Conrado Mello got free with Gil Almeida in the 59th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st minute, Amílton Pinheiro got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. David Vergílio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Pedro Trancoso having to interfere. When Agostinho de Alcântara came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Corredor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Agostinho de Alcântara couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Betinho Amaral during the 71st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Betinho Amaral hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. When Conrado Mello came up free with the goalie in the 78th minute, the Corredor fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Conrado Mello couldn't finish the play. In the 81st minute the ball was on its way in behind Corredor's goalkeeper João Pedro Trancoso, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. David Vergílio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. João Pedro Trancoso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 92 minutes into the match, Corredor's goal looked a bit too open when Amílton Pinheiro came free, but João Pedro Trancoso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute David Vergílio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but João Pedro Trancoso saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. João Pedro Trancoso came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Vertice's Amílton Pinheiro. But to his dismay, Amílton Pinheiro quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Corredor's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
