Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Vitinho Pernambucano got the match started through his kick off. Luizão Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Ivo Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ivo Romero took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vitinho Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Samuel Cardozo recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 9th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 12 minutes into the game, Samuel Cardozo was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ampere SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Barreirinhas SS the free kick. Samuel Cardozo hit a great freekick 12 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vitinho Pernambucano in the 15th minute of play forced Ampere SS's goalkeeper Ivo Romero to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With his leg Ivo Romero managed to avoid a goal in the 18thth minute, when Barreirinhas SS's Luizão Antunes fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. In the 23rd match minute, Barreirinhas SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Júlio Valle to maneuver through the defense. Sidney Baptista struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Adrianinho Abreu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Ampere SS. After 27 played minutes Barreirinhas SS got a freekick which was hit by Júlio Valle. In the 30th minute, Luizão Antunes got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 34th minute, Ampere SS's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Vitinho Pernambucano fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Luizão Antunes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Ivo Romero tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Ampere SS's Reinaldo de Lara got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th match minute, Ampere SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Augusto Baiano to maneuver through the defense. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The wind increased when Samuel Cardozo made the kick off in the second half. Ivo Romero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Luizão Antunes's shot from short distance in the 58th minute. In the 63rd minute, Sidney Baptista got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 66th minute, Oséas Veloso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Ampere SS defense, Luizão Antunes kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivo Romero. The Ampere SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivo Romero should have stopped the shot. Adrianinho Abreu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Samuel Cardozo in the 71st minute of play. Luizão Antunes took the ball and in the 75 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ivo Romero. Ivo Romero dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. After some careless play in the Ampere SS defense, Vitinho Pernambucano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ivo Romero. The Ampere SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ivo Romero should have stopped the shot. In the 83rd minute, Samuel Cardozo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Samuel Cardozo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adrianinho Abreu having to interfere. Samuel Cardozo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Adrianinho Abreu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Barreirinhas SS's Adrianinho Abreu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Samuel Cardozo in the 95th minute of play. Ampere SS's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
