He walked away shaking his head. Marcel Godoi blasted a shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Silas da Rocha having to make a save. After 16 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Platina! If Marcel Godoi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 24 played minutes Platina got a freekick which was hit by Aleandro Ferraz. Silas da Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Luiz Paulo Loureiro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcel Godoi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Silas da Rocha tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Silas da Rocha showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcel Godoi in the 32nd minute of the match. Marcel Godoi struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Silas da Rocha didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tottenham Hotspur FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Godoi in the 35th minute of play forced Platina's goalkeeper Silas da Rocha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luiz Fernando Vander's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but André Sanches read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 38th minute of play. After some careless play in the Platina defense, Luiz Paulo Loureiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Silas da Rocha. The Platina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Silas da Rocha should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Tottenham Hotspur FC getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Antônio Carlos Pena hit a great ball. Luiz Fernando Vander received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. André Sanches tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Platina players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Tottenham Hotspur FC were winning 0-2.

After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Luiz Paulo Loureiro managed to get in a good position for a shot. Tottenham Hotspur FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Luiz Paulo Loureiro was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Silas da Rocha breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Luiz Fernando Vander came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Platina fans jumped to their feet. André Sanches dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2.
