Dino Vidal could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 7th minute of the match, but Roberto Rocha made a huge save. Faustão Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 8th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Faustão Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Caiubi's Faustão Vale got a free kick in the 9th minute. Emerson Batista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Augusto Faria in the 10th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Augusto Faria in the 12th minute of play forced Caiubi's goalkeeper Emerson Batista to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 55 minutes of play, Durga FC's Augusto Faria made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. After having played for 69 minutes, Augusto Faria managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Durga FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Augusto Faria was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ulisses Rocha had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 73rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Faria fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emerson Batista having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Durga FC's Gilberto Sabóia got a free kick in the 82nd minute. When the match had gone on for 85 minutes, Noel Porto put it in 1-2 from a short distance just to the right of Roberto Rocha. Joel Queiroz kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. 95 minutes into the match, Caiubi's goalkeeper Emerson Batista had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Augusto Faria. Roberto Rocha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Simão Netto, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When the match was over Durga FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Caiubi throughout the match.
