Dorian Dracena showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Laércio Ferreira, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. 29 minutes into the match, Brasabrantes's goalkeeper Afonsinho Alcântara had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Bruninho Chaves. After having played for 72 minutes, Bruninho Chaves managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Acare's supporters crossed their fingers, but Bruninho Chaves was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. When Washington Botelho came up free with the goalie in the 74th minute, the Brasabrantes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Washington Botelho couldn't finish the play. Dorian Dracena made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Laércio Ferreira in the 82nd minute of play. Dorian Dracena made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Afonso Neto sent off a good shot on target. Acare's Dorian Dracena proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 88th minute of the match, managed to save Acare from getting a goal against them. After 88 played minutes Acare got a freekick which was hit by Flávio Garcia. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Brasabrantes players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
