Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Válbson do Nascimento started the match with the kick off. 3 minutes into the match, Taperinha's goal looked a bit too open when Válbson do Nascimento came free, but Váldson Montenegro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 10 minutes into the game, one of Macacas:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Taperinha's Váldson Montenegro played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Válbson do Nascimento in the 15th minute of play. Ernesto Zonta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Váldson Montenegro having to interfere. The supporters of Macacas booed when Taperinha was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicolas Rosa didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernesto Zonta in the 22nd minute of play forced Taperinha's goalkeeper Váldson Montenegro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 25 minutes into the game, Macacas's Elder da Rocha nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Váldson Montenegro made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Váldson Montenegro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ernesto Zonta, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Walmir Palmeira fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Basílio Nóbrega having to interfere. If Walmir Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Walmir Palmeira to make the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Macacas's goal looked a bit too open when Walmir Palmeira came free, but Basílio Nóbrega reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Macacas's Ernesto Zonta got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 56 minutes into the game, Válbson do Nascimento recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Váldson Montenegro. Válbson do Nascimento showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-3. After a rather tough play, Taperinha's Nicolas Rosa got a free kick in the 62nd minute. 63 minutes into the match, Macacas's Vitinho Meirelles broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. Nicolas Rosa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Taperinha's Walmir Palmeira in the 80th minute got a chance for a shot 80th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Macacas's goalie prevented a goal. 81 minutes into the game, Amílton Quintal was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Macacas's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Taperinha the free kick. Amílton Quintal kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. If Walmir Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Válbson do Nascimento sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, Taperinha's Váldson Montenegro got control of the ball when Ernesto Zonta tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a rather tough play, Taperinha's Cássio Pimenta got a free kick in the 96th minute. 98 minutes in the game Vitinho Meirelles got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Macacas's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
