Valdo Motas short, quick shot in the 6thth minute got João Augusto Falcão to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Cléber Abraão received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Nicolas Mumbach tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicolas Mumbach took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cléber Abraão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Augusto Falcão made an important save on a dangerous shot by Valdo Mota in the 21st minute. In the 25th minute, André Luiz Ferraz fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. 27 minutes into the match, Petrovina EC's Hermínio Tande sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nicolas Mumbach narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 29th minute, Tião Ribeiro made a precise shot to the right of Nicolas Mumbach. Poiungu EC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. In the 39th minute, André Luiz Ferraz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Petrovina EC's goalkeeper João Augusto Falcão had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Valdo Mota. If Cléber Abraão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead.

The wind increased when André Luiz Ferraz made the kick off in the second half. In the 54th minute, Rubinho Dante hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Petrovina EC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Nestor Moura in the 56th minute. It was a well-played corner which Tião Ribeiro managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Cléber Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Cléber Abraão came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the Petrovina EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cléber Abraão couldn't finish the play. Hermínio Tande kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. Cléber Abraão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 73 minutes, Hermínio Mattos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Poiungu EC and the Petrovina EC players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Petrovina EC booed when Poiungu EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hermínio Mattos didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th match minute, Poiungu EC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valdo Mota to maneuver through the defense. Nicolas Mumbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber Abraão in the 77th minute of the match. 80 minutes into the game, Cléber Abraão recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Nicolas Mumbach. Cléber Abraão showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 0-3. If Tião Ribeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nicolas Mumbach showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cléber Abraão in the 85th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, Tião Ribeiro cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Nicolas Mumbach was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. João Augusto Falcão showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valdo Mota in the 94th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cléber Abraão in the 95th minute of play forced Poiungu EC's goalkeeper Nicolas Mumbach to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
