The tension between the Macaubal and the Remo - AP players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee showed Baltazar Martins the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dionísio Quaresma in the 79th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luís Fabiano Moreno prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When the match clock showed 81 minutes, the score became 0-4 when João Carlos Quintal sped through Remo - AP's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Caio Guerra. Remo - AP's Caio Guerra proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Remo - AP from getting a goal against them. In the 90th minute, Remo - AP's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Reynaldo Cruz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The supporters of Remo - AP booed when Macaubal was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 93 match minutes in a wonderful position. Osvaldinho Linares didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luís Fabiano Moreno stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dionísio Quaresma's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. Macaubal's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
