Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Wágner Barreto started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Arí Ortiz made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Agenor das Neves sent off a good shot on target. In the 4th minute, André Luís Damião left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Muzambinho fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. 9 minutes into the match, Agenor das Neves dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Arí Ortiz, 1-1. Murillo Lopes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rômulo Albuquerque, who was totally free with the ball in the 17th minute. Murillo Lopes took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Eduardo Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, André Luís Damião got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 29th minute Wágner Barreto shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arí Ortiz saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 1-2 became the score in the 32nd minute when Rômulo Albuquerque elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. With a little luck, Muzambinho's Arí Ortiz got control of the ball when Teodoro Paraíba tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Muzambinho's Rômulo Albuquerque in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Oxford SC's goalie prevented a goal. The audience thought a goal was coming when Teodoro Paraíba got free with Arí Ortiz in the 41st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Murillo Lopes came out of the goal in the 43rd minute to try and stop a shot by Muzambinho's Rômulo Albuquerque. But to his dismay, Rômulo Albuquerque quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rômulo Albuquerque in the 46th minute of play forced Oxford SC's goalkeeper Murillo Lopes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 48th minute Rômulo Albuquerque shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Murillo Lopes saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After the first half Muzambinho were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Rômulo Albuquerque was the one to do the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Agenor das Neves hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Murillo Lopes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rômulo Albuquerque's shot from short distance in the 55th minute. Oxford SC's Wágner Barreto got a good chance for a goal in the 58th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Muzambinho's André Luís Damião has a good shot, but didn't show it this time. The shot went over the crossbar in the 63rd minute. André Luís Damião fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Murillo Lopes having to interfere. A hard shot 66 in the game by Rômulo Albuquerque from a close distance when the talented Murillo Lopes managed to make a qualified save. Oxford SC's players were relieved. Muzambinho's Arí Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Agenor das Neves in the 67th minute of play. André Luís Damião struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Murillo Lopes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Muzambinho. In the 73rd minute, Agenor das Neves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Arí Ortiz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Arí Ortiz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wágner Barreto in the 77th minute of the match. Murillo Lopes made an important save on a dangerous shot by Paulo Vander in the 79th minute. Arí Ortiz showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Agenor das Neves, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The Muzambinho fans' excitement grew in the 84th match minute when Muzambinho's Rômulo Albuquerque looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 2-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. An unexpectedly hard shot by Agenor das Neves in the 87th minute of play forced Muzambinho's goalkeeper Arí Ortiz to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. André Luís Damião kicked well hit freekick during the 88th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Wágner Barreto in the 90th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Arí Ortiz saved Muzambinho from getting behind. Muzambinho's Arí Ortiz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Wágner Barreto in the 95th minute of play. 97 minutes into the match, Oxford SC's Wágner Barreto sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Arí Ortiz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Muzambinho played a much better game than Oxford SC and deserved their victory. The Oxford SC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
