Sílvio Luís Hoffmann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 7th match minute, Acaa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tibúrcio Paraense to maneuver through the defense. 10 minutes into the match, Bezerros SC's João Vítor Recife sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Sabino da Cunha narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Afonsinho Leite could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 12th minute of the match, but Dário Barral made a huge save. Sabino da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from João Vítor Recife, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Afonsinho Leite sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 26thth minute of the game Claudinho Soares who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Acaa's Sabino da Cunha was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claudinho Soares's late challenge caught a Acaa's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Claudinho Soares helped the player get up and apologised. In the 30th match minute, Bezerros SC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Claudinho Soares to maneuver through the defense. Bezerros SC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Bruninho Palmeira 33 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Sabino da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Claudinho Soares in the 40th minute of play. Bruninho Palmeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Dário Barral tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Bezerros SC's zone, Afonsinho Leite stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dário Barral came out of the goal and Afonsinho Leite tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind Acaa's goalkeeper Sabino da Cunha, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Bruninho Palmeira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 60th minute, Bruninho Palmeira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Dário Barral was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Bezerros SC's Dário Barral played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tibúrcio Paraense in the 74th minute of play. Sabino da Cunha didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from João Vítor Recife went, in the 76th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Victor Simão's late challenge caught a Bezerros SC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Victor Simão helped the player get up and apologised. Victor Simão hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Bezerros SC's Claudinho Soares got a good chance for a goal in the 95th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Acaa fully deserved thier win.
