Aloísio Veloso hit a great freekick 19 minutes into the match. In the 20th minute of the match Serginho Maciel sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Antônio Carlos Maranhense skillfully saved the ball. After 36 played minutes Torneiros got a freekick which was hit by Laerte Veiga. Ian Cruz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Pontin having to interfere. In the 46th minute Pedro Luís Bastos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Antônio Carlos Maranhense saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The Torneiros players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Trovão Azul FC were winning 0-2.

The wind increased when Geovânio Paraense made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the match, Trovão Azul FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ian Cruz came free, but Paulo Pontin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Adriano Gonçalves fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Paulo Pontin having to interfere. Pedro Luís Bastos charged in rather forcefully in the 57th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Pedro Luís Bastos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 57th minute, Pedro Luís Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ian Cruz recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 65th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Caio Neiva took the ball and in the 71 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Antônio Carlos Maranhense. Antônio Carlos Maranhense dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-3. The supporters of Trovão Azul FC booed when Torneiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 84 match minutes in a wonderful position. João Adolfo Donato didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 85 played minutes Trovão Azul FC got a freekick which was hit by Geovânio Paraense. The supporters of Trovão Azul FC booed when Torneiros was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Tomás Cordeiro didn't get a good kick on the ball. 92 minutes in the game Zézinho Mendonça got a great opportunity which he missed by shooting outside the goal. Trovão Azul FC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
