Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Geovânio Paraense kicked off to start the match. Geovânio Paraense scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Noel Branco, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Noel Branco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geovânio Paraense, who was totally free with the ball in the 12th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caio Neiva in the 14th minute of play forced Pirapucu's goalkeeper Noel Branco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Noel Branco came out of the goal in the 14th minute to try and stop a shot by Trovão Azul FC's Caio Neiva. But to his dismay, Caio Neiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. In the 18th minute, Pedro Luís Bastos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 21 played minutes Trovão Azul FC got a freekick which was hit by Luizão Antunes. Paulo Pontin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Carlinhos Pena, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. When Pedro Luís Bastos came up free with the goalie in the 26th minute, the Trovão Azul FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pedro Luís Bastos couldn't finish the play. If Carlinhos Pena had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Noel Branco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizão Antunes in the 36th minute of the match. Noel Branco came out of the goal in the 38th minute to try and stop a shot by Trovão Azul FC's Caio Neiva. But to his dismay, Caio Neiva quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Geovânio Paraense sent away a hard shot on goal in the 41st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Rodriguinho Souto was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 43 minutes into the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Pirapucu's Júlio Borges got a good chance for a goal in the 53rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. João Pedro Vieira hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. When Danilo Tavares fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Pirapucu's protests and gave Danilo Tavares a yellow card for diving instead. Pirapucu:s Noel Branco showed great skill when he stopped Serginho Maciel:s penalty. 63 minutes into the game, Serginho Maciel cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-4. Noel Branco was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Claudinho de Andrade kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Júlio Borges managed to get in a good position for a shot. Pirapucu's supporters rose to their feet, but Júlio Borges was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Paulo Pontin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 74th play minute Caio Neiva came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Noel Branco. 0-5. In the 80th minute Júlio Borges shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Paulo Pontin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Gugu Duarte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gugu Duarte sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Trovão Azul FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
