Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Luisinho Leão kicked off to start the match. Luisinho Leão fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edgar Meira having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Encarnacao's José Maria Dante got a free kick in the 9th minute. With a little luck, Encarnacao's Luiz Mesquita got control of the ball when Moisés Palmeira tried to sneak it across the goal line. Luiz Fábio Leão kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. Encarnacao's Wellington Hames couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 21st minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Universitario EC. Edgar Meira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Luisinho Leão, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. In the 24th minute, Zeca Carioca hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Faron Balsera received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Luiz Mesquita came out and tried to block the shot, but Faron Balsera slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 32nd minute. Universitario EC's Edgar Meira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisinho Leão in the 40th minute of play. Faron Balsera received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Luiz Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luiz Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Faron Balsera in the 46th minute of the match. Moisés Palmeira came free with the goalkeeper in the 48th minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Luiz Mesquita could save by the left post. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The wind increased when Faron Balsera made the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Faron Balsera made a precise shot to the right of Luiz Mesquita. Encarnacao's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-0. 59 minutes into the match, Universitario EC's goal looked a bit too open when Luisinho Leão came free, but Edgar Meira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Luiz Mesquita came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Universitario EC's Faron Balsera. But to his dismay, Faron Balsera quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. 65 minutes into the match, Encarnacao's goal looked a bit too open when Moisés Palmeira came free, but Luiz Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 66th minute Moisés Palmeira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Luiz Mesquita saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Moisés Palmeira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Zeca Carioca hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Faron Balsera in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luiz Mesquita saved Encarnacao from getting behind. 77 minutes into the match, Encarnacao's goal looked a bit too open when Faron Balsera came free, but Luiz Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Moisés Palmeira received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Luiz Mesquita tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Universitario EC's Natã Machado was substituted for Moisés Palmeira. An unexpectedly hard shot by Faron Balsera in the 81st minute of play forced Encarnacao's goalkeeper Luiz Mesquita to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Igor Pombal received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Edgar Meira tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by José Maria Dante during the 92nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 92 played minutes Encarnacao got a freekick which was hit by José Maria Dante. If Faron Balsera had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 97th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
