Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Cambiasca's Luís Gustavo Ortiz started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Alexsandro Araújo succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 4th playminute. With a little luck, Majuria's Cássio Pernambucano got control of the ball when Alexsandro Araújo tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 9 played minutes Majuria got a freekick which was hit by Cido Dracena. After a defensive mix-up in Cambiasca's zone, Conrado Ramalho stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Rui Mangueira came out of the goal and Conrado Ramalho tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clóvis Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Mangueira having to interfere. In the 28th minute, Conrado Ramalho left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Majuria fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Majuria's zone, Alexsandro Araújo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cássio Pernambucano came out of the goal and Alexsandro Araújo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Clóvis Paes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 38th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rui Mangueira having to interfere. José Botelho kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. Conrado Ramalho scored 1-2 in the 43rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rui Mangueira, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Cambiasca's Rui Mangueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Paes in the 48th minute of play. After the first half Majuria were leading 1-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.
After some careless play in the Majuria defense, Luís Gustavo Ortiz kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cássio Pernambucano. The Majuria fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cássio Pernambucano should have stopped the shot. In the 59th minute, Conrado Ramalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Luís Gustavo Ortiz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Cambiasca's supporters rose to their feet, but Luís Gustavo Ortiz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cássio Pernambucano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 69 minutes into the match, Cambiasca's goalkeeper Rui Mangueira had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Conrado Ramalho. In the 72nd minute, João de Souza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rui Mangueira stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Clóvis Paes's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Alexsandro Araújo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cássio Pernambucano having to interfere. Laerte Valadares hit a great freekick 79 minutes into the match. Cambiasca's Rui Mangueira played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Clóvis Paes in the 83rd minute of play. The supporters of Majuria booed when Cambiasca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. José Botelho didn't get a good kick on the ball. 91 minutes into the match, Cambiasca's goal looked a bit too open when Clóvis Paes came free, but Rui Mangueira reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 93rd minute Clóvis Paes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rui Mangueira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 95th minute, Conrado Ramalho got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
