In the 16th minute, Luís Gustavo Ortiz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Osvaldo Gomes was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alexsandro Araújo in the 18th minute of play forced Conrado FC's goalkeeper Osvaldo Gomes to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Conrado FC's Osvaldo Gomes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alexsandro Araújo in the 20th minute of play. In the 22nd minute, Luís Gustavo Ortiz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Cambiasca fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-2. A collision led to Cambiasca getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. The supporters of Conrado FC booed when Cambiasca was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alexsandro Araújo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 48 minutes into the match, Cambiasca's Luís Gustavo Ortiz sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Osvaldo Gomes narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Cambiasca booed when Conrado FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Júlio Miranda didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Alexsandro Araújo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Rui Mangueira took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Juarês Mello, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cambiasca played a much better game than Conrado FC and deserved their victory. The Conrado FC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
