Mathias Pereira showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dudu Félix, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. Cafu Brasil fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mathias Pereira having to interfere. 11 minutes into the game, Dudu Félix recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Mathias Pereira. Dudu Félix showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. In the 17th minute Dudu Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Jonathan de Azevedo came up free with the goalie in the 21st minute, the Rodeleiro EC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jonathan de Azevedo couldn't finish the play. After 32 played minutes, Tremedal SC's Ezequiel Cordeiro shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Mathias Pereira came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Tremedal SC reached it. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristóvão Corrêa in the 36th minute of play forced Tremedal SC's goalkeeper Carlos Eduardo Bueno to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Cafu Brasil struck a weak shot in the 38th minute. Mathias Pereira didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tremedal SC. Umberto de Castro hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. Jairo Vianna's late challenge caught a Rodeleiro EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. In the 85th minute Dudu Félix shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mathias Pereira saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Rodeleiro EC's Jonathan de Azevedo got a good chance for a goal in the 87th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonathan de Azevedo got free with Carlos Eduardo Bueno in the 95th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. For all the effort they put into the match, the Rodeleiro EC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Tremedal SC.
