Pedro de Souza might have been able to make a better finish in the 7th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Betão Queiroz. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Pedro de Souza ran back to his position shaking his head. In the 11th minute, Norberto Cunha got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Paulo Baiano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rômulo Leão in the 16th minute of the match. A collision led to Raposos SS getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Cristian Torres hit a great ball. In the 20th minute, Pedro de Souza made a precise shot to the right of Betão Queiroz. Macauzinho's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Norberto Cunha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 24th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Betão Queiroz having to interfere. After 28 minutes, Edinho Vidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Raposos SS and the Macauzinho players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 27 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Raposos SS! Serafim de Queirós kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. João Paulo Baiano stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Rômulo Leão's shot from short distance in the 49th minute.

Dida Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. João Paulo Baiano made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dida Moura in the 57th minute of play. Dida Moura sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 64 played minutes Raposos SS got a freekick which was hit by Hernani Rocha. 65 minutes into the match, Macauzinho's Serafim de Queirós broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. If Pedro de Souza had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. If Rômulo Leão had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 69th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Raposos SS's João Paulo Baiano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dida Moura in the 70th minute of play. The supporters of Macauzinho booed when Raposos SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cristian Torres didn't get a good kick on the ball. Rômulo Leão sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
