Ricardinho Cardozo charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. When Gerson Veiga got free in front of the goal in the 74th minute he wasn't very focused and chipped the ball just over the goal. Leonel da Costa was delighted since he was out of position and the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. Leonel da Costa stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gerson Veiga's shot from short distance in the 78th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by José Augusto Arce in the 80th minute of play forced Araucumirim FC's goalkeeper Leonel da Costa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
