Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Vágner Fontes started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the match, Timbahuba's goal looked a bit too open when Vágner Fontes came free, but Egídio Mesquita reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egídio Mesquita made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paulo Renato Tande in the 4th minute of play. José Carlos de Senna recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Egídio Mesquita was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Wágner Guerra. Egídio Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Paulo Renato Tande, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Arapari AD's Paulo Renato Tande was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 12th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Erivaldo Arósio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in Arapari AD's zone, Juvenal Dias stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Luís Paulo Zanette came out of the goal and Juvenal Dias tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 37 minutes into the match, Arapari AD's goal looked a bit too open when Afonsinho Breckenfeld came free, but Luís Paulo Zanette reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee felt a red card was in order, 40 minutes into the game, when Oséias Madureira put in a rough tackle. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Arapari AD:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Timbahuba:s goal. In the 44th minute there was a penalty for Timbahuba. Eurico da Fonseca stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Luís Paulo Zanette. 1-2. Juvenal Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulo Zanette having to interfere. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Juvenal Dias stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Erivaldo Arósio ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Luís Paulo Zanette was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. César Marquez sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 71 minutes into the match, Arapari AD's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Zanette had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Erivaldo Arósio. Egídio Mesquita took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from César Marquez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Egídio Mesquita didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from César Marquez went, in the 74th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Flávio Matorin hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice moves Nilson Almeida could shoot a difficult shot in the 80th minute, which Luís Paulo Zanette however easily saved by the left post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Juvenal Dias in the 83rd minute of play forced Arapari AD's goalkeeper Luís Paulo Zanette to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Arapari AD's Luís Paulo Zanette played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Juvenal Dias in the 84th minute of play. In the 86th minute, Afonsinho Breckenfeld reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Luís Paulo Zanette. The goal made the score 2-4. Juvenal Dias fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luís Paulo Zanette having to interfere. If César Marquez had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Timbahuba's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
