Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Geraldo Zilles started the match with the kick off. Egídio Mesquita showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Haroldo Fontes in the 8th minute of the match. 10 minutes into the game, Juvenal Dias recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Tiago Gabriel da Silva. Juvenal Dias showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-0. 24 minutes into the game, Timbahuba's Erivaldo Arósio nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tiago Gabriel da Silva made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. In the 27th minute, Geraldo Zilles ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Egídio Mesquita was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-1. The crowd rose to their feet as Timbahuba's Juvenal Dias slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Tiago Gabriel da Silva. That made the score 4-1 after 31 minutes of play. In the 34th match minute, Timbahuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eriberto de Azevedo to maneuver through the defense. When Miguel Dantas came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Matilde FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miguel Dantas couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the game, Matilde FC's Haroldo Fontes nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Egídio Mesquita made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-2. Tiago Gabriel da Silva made an important save on a dangerous shot by Erivaldo Arósio in the 41st minute. Haroldo Fontes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Egídio Mesquita having to interfere. In the 47th match minute, Timbahuba was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Freddie Kihlman to maneuver through the defense. Miguel Dantas took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 48th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Egídio Mesquita. Timbahuba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line.

The wind increased when Juvenal Dias made the kick off in the second half. When Valdir Seco fell near the penalty area in the 51st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Timbahuba's protests and gave Valdir Seco a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Timbahuba's Valdir Seco got a free kick in the 51st minute. Thanks to some nice moves Haroldo Fontes could shoot a difficult shot in the 54th minute, which Egídio Mesquita however easily saved by the left post. Timbahuba's Egídio Mesquita played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geraldo Zilles in the 55th minute of play. In the 57th minute, Juvenal Dias left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Timbahuba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-2. 61 minutes into the match, Matilde FC's goal looked a bit too open when Afonsinho Breckenfeld came free, but Tiago Gabriel da Silva reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Egídio Mesquita showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Geraldo Zilles, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. 67 minutes into the match, Afonsinho Breckenfeld notched a goal, 6-2, to the right of Matilde FC's Tiago Gabriel da Silva. Tiago Gabriel da Silva was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Tiago Gabriel da Silva came out of the goal in the 83rd minute to try and stop a shot by Timbahuba's Erivaldo Arósio. But to his dismay, Erivaldo Arósio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-2. The supporters of Timbahuba booed when Matilde FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 86 match minutes in a wonderful position. Vicente Diniz didn't get a good kick on the ball. José Carlos de Senna sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Matilde FC's Tiago Gabriel da Silva played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Afonsinho Breckenfeld in the 92nd minute of play. When Sandro Vasconcelos fell near the penalty area in the 94th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. There was no doubt that Timbahuba were the better team. Timbahuba's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
