Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Edmundo Toledo took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 5th minute of the match, Laércio de Andrade got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nuno Leite was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Nuno Leite made a fantastic save in the 8th minute, when Laércio de Andrade sent off a good shot on target. Laércio de Andrade blasted a shot towards the goal in the 11th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nuno Leite having to make a save. Laércio de Andrade in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Nuno Leite, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Maurício Rodrigues fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Juan Souza having to interfere. Laércio de Andrade sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 23rd minute, Laércio de Andrade made a precise shot to the right of Nuno Leite. Nike Brasil's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Nuno Leite was out of position in the 27 minute of play, and Jairo Magalhães capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Jairo Magalhães really showed his touch with that goal: 2-0. After a rather tough play, Projeto's Roger Vander got a free kick in the 33rd minute. Maurício Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 37th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Juan Souza stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Edmundo Toledo's shot from short distance in the 40th minute. The supporters of Projeto booed when Nike Brasil was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Miguel Jacinto didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jairo Magalhães was the one to do the kick off. Laércio de Andrade fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nuno Leite having to interfere. Projeto's Laércio de Andrade got a good chance for a goal in the 61st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Projeto's Juan Souza proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Projeto from getting a goal against them. In the 82nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Nike Brasil's goalkeeper Nuno Leite, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Nike Brasil's Emanuel Cerezo got a free kick in the 83rd minute. In the 84th minute of the match Davi Tróia shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Nuno Leite showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. In the 86th minute, Maurício Rodrigues made a precise shot to the right of Juan Souza. Projeto's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. Nuno Leite took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jairo Magalhães, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laércio de Andrade in the 95th minute of play forced Nike Brasil's goalkeeper Nuno Leite to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Projeto were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Nike Brasil for a fine match.
