Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Dino Santos took the kick off in the first half of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Cafu Sanches during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Dino Santos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Leonardo Tande tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 8 minutes into the match, Penedia EC's Rogério Rossi sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Leonardo Tande narrowly saved just below the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rogério Rossi in the 10th minute of play forced Teuini SC's goalkeeper Leonardo Tande to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Natanael Arósio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Clóvis Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Penedia EC's Luís Eduardo Meireles got a free kick in the 13th minute. Clóvis Schmidt took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Natanael Arósio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cesinha Catarinense charged in rather forcefully in the 19th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cesinha Catarinense the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gláuber Meira kicked well hit freekick during the 23rd minute of the match. 24 minutes into the match, Teuini SC's goal looked a bit too open when Dino Santos came free, but Leonardo Tande reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vito Messias in the 26th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Leonardo Tande prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Natanael Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The supporters of Penedia EC booed when Teuini SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cafu Sanches didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ian Barbosa had several of the Penedia EC's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 38 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 2-0 score and a disappointed Clóvis Schmidt as he didn't even see the shot coming. After having played for 42 minutes, Rogério Rossi managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Penedia EC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rogério Rossi was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Clóvis Schmidt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ian Barbosa in the 46th minute. Ian Barbosa blasted a shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clóvis Schmidt having to make a save. Clóvis Schmidt made an important save on a dangerous shot by Joélson Koehler in the 50th minute. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The wind increased when Natanael Arósio made the kick off in the second half. In the 55th minute, Penedia EC's Alfredo Cosme seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alfredo Cosme the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Penedia EC protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alfredo Cosme had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 54th minute, one of Penedia EC:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Penedia EC. Penedia EC's Clóvis Schmidt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ian Barbosa in the 60th minute of play. Vito Messias hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 63rd minute Ian Barbosa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 70 minutes into the match, Penedia EC's goal looked a bit too open when Alfredinho da Silva came free, but Clóvis Schmidt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alfredinho da Silva scored 4-0 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Clóvis Schmidt, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Clóvis Schmidt showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ian Barbosa, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. In the 82nd minute Natanael Arósio shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Clóvis Schmidt saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Ian Barbosa came up free with the goalie in the 84th minute, the Teuini SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ian Barbosa couldn't finish the play. Natanael Arósio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 86th minute. Clóvis Schmidt tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Natanael Arósio fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Teuini SC's protests and gave Natanael Arósio a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Penedia EC booed when Teuini SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 90 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natanael Arósio didn't get a good kick on the ball. Cafu Sanches fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clóvis Schmidt having to interfere. If Natanael Arósio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 97 minutes into the game, Vito Messias was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Penedia EC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Teuini SC the free kick. In the 97th minute, Vito Messias hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Natanael Arósio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 102nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clóvis Schmidt having to interfere. There was no doubt that Teuini SC were the better team. Teuini SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
