Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Amauri Tande took the kick off in the first half of the match. After 4 minutes of play, Inhata's Amauri Tande made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. João Adolfo Damião was left in no man's land by his defense there! 10 minutes into the game, Tião Pernambucano recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Lauro Tavares. Tião Pernambucano showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-1. When the match had gone on for 13 minutes, Orlando de Queiroz put it in 2-1 from a short distance just to the right of Lauro Tavares. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Tião Pernambucano in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lauro Tavares saved Inhata from getting behind. Orlando de Queiroz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Lauro Tavares made a huge save. Flamengo's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Thiago Antunes in the 26th minute. A nice corner shot did that Thiago Antunes got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Lauro Tavares quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tião Pernambucano in the 28th minute of play forced Inhata's goalkeeper Lauro Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, Flamengo's Mathias Barbosa got a free kick in the 29th minute. Jerônimo Maciel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 32nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Tião Pernambucano's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lauro Tavares was relentless in the 38th minute of the game. After 39 played minutes Inhata got a freekick which was hit by Jerônimo Maciel. In the 40th minute, Flamengo's Tião Pernambucano ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Lauro Tavares. Lauro Tavares yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 3-1. If Orlando de Queiroz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 43rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 3-1 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tião Pernambucano to make the kick off. João Adolfo Damião made an important save on a dangerous shot by Waldir Romero in the 52nd minute. When Orlando de Queiroz fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Flamengo's protests and gave Orlando de Queiroz a yellow card for diving instead. After 54 played minutes Flamengo got a freekick which was hit by Orlando de Queiroz. Waldir Romero sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 56th match minute, Flamengo was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mathias Barbosa to maneuver through the defense. Lauro Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tião Pernambucano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. João Adolfo Damião made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Waldir Romero sent off a good shot on target. Lauro Tavares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Orlando de Queiroz, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. In the 89th minute Orlando de Queiroz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lauro Tavares saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 95 minutes into the match, Flamengo's goalkeeper João Adolfo Damião had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Waldir Romero. Flamengo's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
