Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Reinaldo Guedes started the match with the kick off. Telmo Senna kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Ademir Velasco made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Walmir Galvão in the 8th minute of play. With a little luck, Cadete FC's Joaquim Carioca got control of the ball when Reinaldo Guedes tried to sneak it across the goal line. Anísio Tinoco fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 13th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joaquim Carioca having to interfere. 18 minutes into the match, Reinaldo Guedes notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Cadete FC's Joaquim Carioca. Joaquim Carioca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Pindaiba's Ademir Velasco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Walmir Galvão in the 21st minute of play. Ademir Velasco came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Cadete FC's Maurinho Guimarães. But to his dismay, Maurinho Guimarães quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Maurinho Guimarães in the 26th minute of play forced Pindaiba's goalkeeper Ademir Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Digo Barral got free with Joaquim Carioca in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 31st minute, Reinaldo Guedes left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Pindaiba fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. After 34 played minutes Cadete FC got a freekick which was hit by Walmir Galvão. Joaquim Carioca made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Reinaldo Guedes sent off a good shot on target. Reinaldo Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Joaquim Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Murillo Ferreira took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 46th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ademir Velasco. Pindaiba's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Walmir Galvão made a kick off. Joaquim Carioca didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Anísio Tinoco went, in the 56th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. 59 minutes into the match, Anísio Tinoco notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Cadete FC's Joaquim Carioca. Joaquim Carioca was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Reinaldo Guedes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Joaquim Carioca tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Joaquim Carioca made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anísio Tinoco in the 67th minute of play. Reinaldo Guedes recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 71st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 73 minutes, Reinaldo Guedes managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Pindaiba's supporters crossed their fingers, but Reinaldo Guedes was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Anísio Tinoco blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Joaquim Carioca having to make a save. In the 77th minute, Anísio Tinoco made a precise shot to the right of Joaquim Carioca. Cadete FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-1. 86 minutes into the match, Cadete FC's goal looked a bit too open when Reinaldo Guedes came free, but Joaquim Carioca reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Anísio Tinoco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
