In the 11th minute Ronaldinho de Sousa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victor da Cunha saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Regalia Fc's Vicente Bastos got a good chance for a goal in the 16th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Victor da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Claudinei Velasco came up free with the goalie in the 23rd minute, the Arraias SS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Claudinei Velasco couldn't finish the play. In the 36th minute, Anderson Porto got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Amauri Antunes in the 38th minute of play forced Regalia Fc's goalkeeper Victor da Cunha to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 43 minutes, Anderson Porto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Regalia Fc's supporters crossed their fingers, but Anderson Porto was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 44th minute, Claudinei Velasco made a precise shot to the right of Victor da Cunha. Regalia Fc's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-2. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Alfredinho Barral showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jorginho Brito in the 52nd minute of the match. A collision led to Regalia Fc getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Anderson Porto hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amauri Antunes in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Victor da Cunha saved Regalia Fc from getting behind. The crowd rose to their feet as Arraias SS's Amauri Antunes slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Victor da Cunha. That made the score 0-4 after 64 minutes of play. Regalia Fc's Victor da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Cido Cosme in the 69th minute of play. 71 minutes into the match, Regalia Fc's goal looked a bit too open when Amauri Antunes came free, but Victor da Cunha reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Victor da Cunha took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Amauri Antunes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Arraias SS's zone, Anderson Porto stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. When Perivaldo Peres fell near the penalty area in the 75th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arraias SS's protests and gave Perivaldo Peres a yellow card for diving instead. In the 76th minute, Perivaldo Peres hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 79th minute, Ronaldinho de Sousa left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Arraias SS fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-5. Amauri Antunes took the ball and in the 82 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Victor da Cunha. Victor da Cunha dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. Victor da Cunha made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amauri Antunes in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute, Claudinei Velasco ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Victor da Cunha was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-7. Regalia Fc's Victor da Cunha played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amauri Antunes in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Regalia Fc's goalkeeper Victor da Cunha had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ronaldinho de Sousa. When the match was over Arraias SS could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Regalia Fc throughout the match.
