Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) After a rather tough play, Jauarete AD's Antônio Gaúcho got a free kick in the 7th minute. When Almir Tepedino fell near the penalty area in the 12th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santos FC's protests and gave Almir Tepedino a yellow card for diving instead. After 12 played minutes Santos FC got a freekick which was hit by Almir Tepedino. Jauarete AD's Régis de Castro couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 13th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Santos FC. Ulisses Lopez was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Duda Tavares capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Duda Tavares really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Gildo Vasconcelos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wilson Motta in the 19th minute of play. Gildo Vasconcelos showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilson Motta in the 24th minute of the match. In the 24th minute, Bernardo Bezerra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Leandro Alvarenga scored 2-0 in the 27th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Ulisses Lopez, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Juninho Nogueira charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Juninho Nogueira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Juninho Nogueira hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. After 32 minutes of play, Jauarete AD's Leandro Alvarenga made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ulisses Lopez was left in no man's land by his defense there! The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Duda Tavares made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, Jauarete AD's Leandro Alvarenga sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ulisses Lopez narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Duda Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Duda Tavares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulisses Lopez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. Gildo Vasconcelos made a fantastic save in the 64th minute, when Wilson Motta sent off a good shot on target. 68 minutes into the match, Jauarete AD's goal looked a bit too open when Faustão de Salles came free, but Gildo Vasconcelos reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Duda Tavares received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Ulisses Lopez tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 73rd match minute, Santos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Almir Tepedino to maneuver through the defense. Régis de Castro, 73 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Duda Tavares's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Ulisses Lopez read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 89th minute of play. In the 91st minute of the match, Faustão de Salles tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Gildo Vasconcelos saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Duda Tavares sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Jauarete AD fans cheered their team off the field, for while Santos FC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
