An unexpectedly hard shot by Fábio Maciel in the 5th minute of play forced Yuriduarte's goalkeeper Marquinhos Tróia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 6 minutes into the match, Calafibre SS's goal looked a bit too open when Aníbal Custódio came free, but Renatinho Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Yuriduarte getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Geovanni Rodrigues hit a great ball. After 10 played minutes Calafibre SS got a freekick which was hit by Emerson Sabóia. Renatinho Recife made an important save on a dangerous shot by Geovanni Rodrigues in the 13th minute. Geovanni Rodrigues who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 15thth minute tested the skills of Renatinho Recife when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Geovanni Rodrigues could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 16th minute of the match, but Renatinho Recife made a huge save. Geovanni Rodrigues recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 20th minute of the match, Aníbal Custódio tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Renatinho Recife saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 21st minute, Anderson Bueno hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 25th minute, Sérgio Soares made a precise shot to the right of Renatinho Recife. Calafibre SS's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. A collision led to Calafibre SS getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Joaquim Faria hit a great ball. Geovanni Rodrigues struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Renatinho Recife didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Yuriduarte. Aníbal Custódio might have been able to make a better finish in the 31st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Renatinho Recife. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Aníbal Custódio ran back to his position shaking his head. 36 minutes into the match, Yuriduarte's goal looked a bit too open when Fábio Maciel came free, but Marquinhos Tróia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aníbal Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 38th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Geovanni Rodrigues got free with Renatinho Recife in the 39th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a rather tough play, Calafibre SS's Anderson Bueno got a free kick in the 44th minute. When Aníbal Custódio came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Yuriduarte fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Aníbal Custódio couldn't finish the play. Renatinho Recife didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovanni Rodrigues went, in the 46th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Fábio Maciel was the one to do the kick off. Aníbal Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Renatinho Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 55 minutes of play, Yuriduarte's Geovanni Rodrigues made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Renatinho Recife was left in no man's land by his defense there! After having played for 59 minutes, Magno Lopez managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Yuriduarte's supporters crossed their fingers, but Magno Lopez was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Aníbal Custódio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Renatinho Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Yuriduarte's Marquinhos Tróia played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Fábio Maciel in the 65th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Aníbal Custódio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renatinho Recife was relentless in the 66th minute of the game. Marquinhos Tróia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jefferson Mendes, who was totally free with the ball in the 67th minute. Aníbal Custódio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Recife having to interfere. Aníbal Custódio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calafibre SS's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Geovanni Rodrigues was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. 83 minutes into the game, Fábio Maciel was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calafibre SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Yuriduarte the free kick. In the 83rd minute, Fábio Maciel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Renatinho Recife made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Geovanni Rodrigues in the 85th minute of play. Anderson Bueno kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Calafibre SS's Anderson Bueno got his second yellow card of the match in the 92nd minute. The referee ordered Anderson Bueno off the ground. In the 92nd match minute, Calafibre SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Anderson Bueno to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Aníbal Custódio's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Renatinho Recife was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. Nilmar Berger sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Beto Cardoso made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 98thth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Marquinhos Tróia would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. When the referee ended the match the Yuriduarte players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
