Renatinho Recife made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Francisco de Amorim in the 8th minute of play. In the 10th minute Francisco de Amorim shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renatinho Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Calafibre SS's Renatinho Recife played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Francisco de Amorim in the 11th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 16 minutes, Francisco de Amorim put it in 0-1 from a short distance just to the right of Renatinho Recife. With his leg Telmo Velasco managed to avoid a goal in the 22ndth minute, when Calafibre SS's Beto Cardoso fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. If Luizão Pereira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renatinho Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Francisco de Amorim in the 26th minute of the match. In the 29th minute Luizão Pereira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Renatinho Recife saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Francisco de Amorim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Renatinho Recife having to interfere. Renatinho Recife showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luizão Pereira in the 34th minute of the match. Mustang FC's Francisco de Amorim managed to work through Calafibre SS's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Francisco de Amorim dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Luizão Pereira recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 39th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mustang FC's Telmo Velasco proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 42nd minute of the match, managed to save Mustang FC from getting a goal against them. When Tomás Munhoz fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mustang FC's protests and gave Tomás Munhoz a yellow card for diving instead. Tomás Munhoz kicked well hit freekick during the 43rd minute of the match. Renatinho Recife didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Francisco de Amorim went, in the 47th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Fábio Maciel to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 57 minutes, Betinho da Costa managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Mustang FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Betinho da Costa was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Beto Cardoso in the 60th minute of play forced Mustang FC's goalkeeper Telmo Velasco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Luizão Pereira's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 63rdth minute, Renatinho Recife skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Calafibre SS's Renatinho Recife proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 67th minute of the match, managed to save Calafibre SS from getting a goal against them. Mustang FC's Tomás Munhoz managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Severino Baptista in the 74 minute of the game. 80 minutes into the match, Calafibre SS's goal looked a bit too open when Francisco de Amorim came free, but Renatinho Recife reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jefferson Mendes charged in rather forcefully in the 80th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jefferson Mendes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 81 played minutes Calafibre SS got a freekick which was hit by Jefferson Mendes. If Francisco de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Renatinho Recife made a fantastic save in the 83rd minute, when Luizão Pereira sent off a good shot on target. In the 85th minute, Joaquim Faria hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. If Francisco de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Calafibre SS's zone, Luizão Pereira stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Renatinho Recife came out of the goal and Luizão Pereira tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Francisco de Amorim came up free with the goalie in the 94th minute, the Mustang FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisco de Amorim couldn't finish the play. Calafibre SS's Renatinho Recife proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to save Calafibre SS from getting a goal against them. Francisco de Amorim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 97th minute. Renatinho Recife tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Calafibre SS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Mustang FC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
