After a rather tough play, Camapuan's Nelson Correia got a free kick in the 5th minute. In the 6th match minute, Camapuan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Albertino Varela to maneuver through the defense. Camapuan's Dário Moraes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Giuseppe Diniz in the 8th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 11th minute, Hamílton Mangueira managed to get in a good position for a shot. Camapuan's supporters rose to their feet, but Hamílton Mangueira was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fiori Borges breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Nelson Correia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Fiori Borges tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 21 minutes into the match, Grajahu's goal looked a bit too open when Hamílton Mangueira came free, but Fiori Borges reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Giuseppe Diniz's late challenge caught a Camapuan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Giuseppe Diniz helped the player get up and apologised. Giuseppe Diniz kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adalberto Romero during the 33rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 33 played minutes Grajahu got a freekick which was hit by Adalberto Romero. In the 34th minute, Elano Queiroz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fiori Borges was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. If Doriva Soeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 43rd minute, Hamílton Mangueira ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Fiori Borges was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. In the 46th minute, Nelson Correia left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Camapuan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-3. Disappointed in the 1-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nelson Correia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Grajahu getting a freekick after 51 minutes play. Nuno Arruda hit a great ball. After 56 played minutes Grajahu got a freekick which was hit by Nuno Arruda. Hamílton Mangueira sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albertino Varela hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. 64 minutes into the match, Camapuan's Doriva Soeiro sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fiori Borges narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Hamílton Mangueira struck a weak shot in the 65th minute. Fiori Borges didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Camapuan. Fiori Borges made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hamílton Mangueira in the 71st minute of play. After 72 played minutes Grajahu got a freekick which was hit by Franklin Chaves. Yan Arantes scored 1-4 in the 83rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fiori Borges, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Grajahu's zone, Yan Arantes stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fiori Borges came out of the goal and Yan Arantes tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Fiori Borges showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hamílton Mangueira in the 88th minute of the match. If Hamílton Mangueira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 92nd minute, Hamílton Mangueira reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Fiori Borges. The goal made the score 1-5. In the 97th minute, Grajahu's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Nelson Correia fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Camapuan's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
