The supporters of renaux booed when RANCATOCO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manoel Montenegro didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sandrinho Catarinense made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Betão Zanette in the 11th minute of play. If Allan Romero had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 13th minute. RANCATOCO's Alexsandro Vidal played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Baltazar Dias in the 15th minute of play. renaux were furious when João Vítor Meirelles was red carded, 18 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. The referee gave RANCATOCO a penalty, 19 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Manoel Montenegro, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of renaux's Sandrinho Catarinense. 0-2. Alexsandro Vidal showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lauro Viana, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute.
