Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Caco Seco kicked off to start the match. After 4 played minutes Retirada SS got a freekick which was hit by Cipriano Paraíba. Duarte Xavier showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Cruz, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Davi Tepedino got free with Duarte Xavier in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Vitinho Silva received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Mazinho Araújo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Retirada SS's Davi Tepedino got a good chance for a goal in the 24th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Vitinho Silva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Davi Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Duarte Xavier showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alex Cruz in the 35th minute of the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Cruz in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duarte Xavier saved Botafogo O mais Glorioso from getting behind.

The wind increased when Alex Cruz made the kick off in the second half. Duarte Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cipriano Paraíba in the 51st minute of play. The supporters of Botafogo O mais Glorioso booed when Retirada SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cipriano Paraíba didn't get a good kick on the ball. Duarte Xavier made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alex Cruz in the 57th minute of play. 58 minutes into the game, Cipriano Paraíba was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Retirada SS's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Botafogo O mais Glorioso the free kick. In the 58th match minute, Retirada SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cipriano Paraíba to maneuver through the defense. In the 62nd minute Alex Cruz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Duarte Xavier saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 68th minute, Vitinho Silva ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mazinho Araújo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. 72 minutes into the match, Retirada SS's goal looked a bit too open when Caco Seco came free, but Mazinho Araújo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience was convinced that Alex Cruz's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Duarte Xavier was relentless in the 74th minute of the game. A collision led to Botafogo O mais Glorioso getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Fausto de Salles hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Davi Tepedino in the 85th minute of play forced Botafogo O mais Glorioso's goalkeeper Duarte Xavier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Davi Tepedino had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 96 minutes of play, Retirada SS's Davi Tepedino made it 1-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Duarte Xavier was left in no man's land by his defense there! The Retirada SS supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Botafogo O mais Glorioso's performance. The match ended with a win for Botafogo O mais Glorioso.
