In the 15th play minute Elder Alves came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edinho Luz. 1-0. Tostão Saraiva hit a great freekick 18 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Marari SS's Gildo Ribeiro tried to score from far away in the 19th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. João Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Marinho having to interfere. Elder Alves sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 27 minutes of play, Marari SS's Fiori Santos made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Geovanni Marinho was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 31st minute, Elder Alves ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edinho Luz was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. 35 minutes into the match, Eusébio Monteiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Edinho Luz, 3-1. Eusébio Monteiro kicked well hit freekick during the 38th minute of the match. In the 40th minute, João Abreu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. João Abreu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Marinho having to interfere. Marari SS's Edinho Luz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eusébio Monteiro in the 45th minute of play. Elder Alves in the 46thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Edinho Luz, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 48th play minute Elder Alves came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Edinho Luz. 4-1. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

João Abreu hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 58 minutes into the match, Sertao's goal looked a bit too open when Fiori Santos came free, but Geovanni Marinho reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fiori Santos in the 63rd minute of play forced Sertao's goalkeeper Geovanni Marinho to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some careless play in the Marari SS defense, Eusébio Monteiro kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Edinho Luz. The Marari SS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Edinho Luz should have stopped the shot. Vágner Leme fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Geovanni Marinho having to interfere. If Fiori Santos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 76th minute, João Abreu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Marari SS's supporters rose to their feet, but João Abreu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Geovanni Marinho breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eusébio Monteiro sent away a hard shot on goal in the 79th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 81st match minute, Marari SS was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vágner Leme to maneuver through the defense. Edinho Luz showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Monteiro in the 85th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the match, Marari SS's goal looked a bit too open when Elder Alves came free, but Edinho Luz reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
