Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Gino Santos took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cássio Mazza, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Cássio Mazza came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the AE Araruamense fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cássio Mazza couldn't finish the play. If Vladimir Esteves had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Arí Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 11th minute of the match Luís Vidal shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gino Santos showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. After a rather tough play, AE Araruamense's Pedro Paulo Guedes got a free kick in the 15th minute. Geovânio Penha fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Wilian Loyola having to interfere. In the 19th minute, Antônio Carlos Tasso hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 played minutes AE Araruamense got a freekick which was hit by Cássio Mazza. Vladimir Esteves received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Gino Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Geovânio Penha came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Jaqueira EC fans jumped to their feet. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Nicolas Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaqueira EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilian Loyola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 32nd match minute, AE Araruamense was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pedro Paulo Guedes to maneuver through the defense. Wilian Loyola tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 40 minutes into the match, AE Araruamense's goalkeeper Wilian Loyola had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nicolas Santana. After a defensive mix-up in Jaqueira EC's zone, Cássio Mazza stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gino Santos came out of the goal and Cássio Mazza tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 45th minute, Arí Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Cássio Mazza received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Gino Santos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cássio Mazza to strike the kick off in the second half. Igor Romero's late challenge caught a Jaqueira EC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Romero helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Jaqueira EC booed when AE Araruamense was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Igor Romero didn't get a good kick on the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 61st minute, Nicolas Santana managed to get in a good position for a shot. Jaqueira EC's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicolas Santana was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Wilian Loyola breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Cássio Mazza in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gino Santos saved Jaqueira EC from getting behind. 65 minutes into the match, Jaqueira EC's Geovânio Penha sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Wilian Loyola narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Wilian Loyola didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Geovânio Penha went, in the 68th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Nicolas Santana struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Wilian Loyola didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Jaqueira EC. Nicolas Santana took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Wilian Loyola. Wilian Loyola dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. AE Araruamense's Wilian Loyola played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Geovânio Penha in the 81st minute of play. Wilian Loyola showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Nicolas Santana in the 83rd minute of the match. Geovânio Penha recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 93rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 94 minutes of play Jaqueira EC's Arí Mineiro was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. In the 95th minute, Arí Mineiro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jaqueira EC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of AE Araruamense for a fine match.
