Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) The supporters of Lagoinhas booed when Cruzeirinho SS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rafael Penha didn't get a good kick on the ball. With an all-out effort, Lagoinhas's Arlindo França threw himself towards the right post 5 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Luiz Gustavo Abraão, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When Valdir Hames came up free with the goalie in the 8th minute, the Lagoinhas fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Valdir Hames couldn't finish the play. Luiz Gustavo Abraão recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 12th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Arlindo França showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrianinho do Vale in the 16th minute of the match. Valdir Hames kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. When Aírton Gaúcho fell near the penalty area in the 20th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cruzeirinho SS's protests and gave Aírton Gaúcho a yellow card for diving instead. Felippe Massa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rafael Penha in the 24th minute of the match. 27 minutes in the game, Adrianinho do Vale fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Arlindo França having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet as Luiz Gustavo Abraão kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Arlindo França. That made the score 1-0 in the 29 minute of play. Raí Fonseca received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Felippe Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Felippe Massa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rafael Penha, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Cruzeirinho SS's Raí Fonseca got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Raí Fonseca recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 40th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nestor Rosado during the 41st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 41st match minute, Lagoinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nestor Rosado to maneuver through the defense. In the 42nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lagoinhas's goalkeeper Felippe Massa, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Aírton Gaúcho came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Cruzeirinho SS fans jumped to their feet. Almir da Silva kicked well hit freekick during the 45th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Raí Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 53 minutes into the match, Cruzeirinho SS's goal looked a bit too open when Luiz Gustavo Abraão came free, but Arlindo França reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 62nd minute, Raí Fonseca got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Adrianinho do Vale charged in rather forcefully in the 82nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Adrianinho do Vale the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 82nd match minute, Lagoinhas was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Adrianinho do Vale to maneuver through the defense. In the 84th minute Rafael Penha shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felippe Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Raí Fonseca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 87th minute of the match, but Felippe Massa made a huge save. If Almir da Silva had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Valdir Hames might have been able to make a better finish in the 95th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Arlindo França. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Valdir Hames ran back to his position shaking his head. Lagoinhas's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
