When Clevlandia's Orlando Freitas, in the 5th minute, received a pass right in front of the net, it looked like a certain goal, but his shot went outside. A wasted opportunity for Clevlandia. Rafa de Azevedo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ricardinho Massa having to interfere. In the 12th minute, Breno Oliveira hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 16thth minute of the game Orlando Freitas who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ℬяaga 65's Ricardinho Massa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to ℬяaga 65 getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Adelino Furlan hit a great ball. 19 minutes into the match, ℬяaga 65's goal looked a bit too open when Rafa de Azevedo came free, but Ricardinho Massa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Orlando Freitas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 24th minute Orlando Freitas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ricardinho Massa saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 27 minutes, Guga de Moraes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Clevlandia and the ℬяaga 65 players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 28 played minutes Clevlandia got a freekick which was hit by Guga de Moraes. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Erasmo Moreira during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 35 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for ℬяaga 65! In the 37th minute there was a penalty for Clevlandia. Romário Prata stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Ricardinho Massa. 0-1. ℬяaga 65's Ricardinho Massa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Orlando Freitas in the 42nd minute of play. When Orlando Freitas came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Clevlandia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Orlando Freitas couldn't finish the play. Breno Oliveira charged in rather forcefully in the 45th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Breno Oliveira the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 46 played minutes ℬяaga 65 got a freekick which was hit by Breno Oliveira. If Rafa de Azevedo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Nildo Tavares stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Orlando Freitas had several of the ℬяaga 65's defenders around him in the penalty area when he, after 52 minutes of play, received a pass and succeeded in some way to shoot a shot which went straight ahead into goal. This resulted in a 0-2 score and a disappointed Ricardinho Massa as he didn't even see the shot coming. Rafa de Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 55th minute. Ricardinho Massa tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Luís Paulo Aparecido hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Ricardinho Massa was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Luís Paulo Aparecido. ℬяaga 65's Ricardinho Massa proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save ℬяaga 65 from getting a goal against them. Nildo Tavares fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iuri Cunha having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Orlando Freitas in the 73rd minute of play forced ℬяaga 65's goalkeeper Ricardinho Massa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 74th minute, Rafa de Azevedo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Clevlandia's supporters rose to their feet, but Rafa de Azevedo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ricardinho Massa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Guga de Moraes struck a weak shot in the 77th minute. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Orlando Freitas managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clevlandia's supporters crossed their fingers, but Orlando Freitas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. During the 94th minute of the match Guga de Moraes completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Guga de Moraes a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 95th minute, Guga de Moraes hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Clevlandia played a much better game than ℬяaga 65 and deserved their victory. The ℬяaga 65 players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
