After a defensive mix-up in Moiboada EC's zone, Nestor Hames stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Walmyr Donatello came out of the goal and Nestor Hames tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Marcelinho de Amorim had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Nestor Hames received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 18th minute. Walmyr Donatello tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 23 minutes into the game, Marcelinho de Amorim cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Walmyr Donatello was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Marcelinho de Amorim sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 28 played minutes Carrapatinho FC got a freekick which was hit by Nestor Hames. Walmyr Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Moiboada EC getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Silas Vaz hit a great ball. If Nestor Hames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Walmyr Donatello took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelinho de Amorim, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Roberto Magalhães who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 39thth minute tested the skills of Adhemar Fernandes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Carrapatinho FC's Adhemar Fernandes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Egídio Carvalho in the 40th minute of play. The supporters of Carrapatinho FC booed when Moiboada EC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Silas Vaz didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The wind increased when Marcelinho de Amorim made the kick off in the second half. A collision led to Moiboada EC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Edmundo Damião hit a great ball. Adhemar Fernandes showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roberto Magalhães, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. A collision led to Carrapatinho FC getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Cícero da Costa hit a great ball. Adhemar Fernandes stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Egídio Carvalho's shot from short distance in the 65th minute. If Nestor Hames had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marcelinho de Amorim blasted a shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Walmyr Donatello having to make a save. Egídio Carvalho fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 90th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adhemar Fernandes having to interfere. Carrapatinho FC were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
